Late Policy and Fee

Please call as soon as you realize that you are going to be late for pickup. The Center closes at 5 pm and parents should arrive no later than 4:55 pm to allow time to visit with the teacher, collect belongings and sign out. The fee is $25 for each 15-minute period or portion thereof past closing.

if parents cannot be reached after 15 minutes past closing, the emergency contact will be notified to pick up the child. Children will have up to one hour to be picked up before authorities are called. Full Steam Ahead reserves the right to discontinue services if tuition and late fees are not paid in a timely manner as detailed above.

Transitions

Children transition based on developmental readiness, group dynamics, space availability and age. Parents are notified three to eight weeks before a likely transition. The primary caregiver helps connect the child with the new group and educators. Toddlers who enter Preschool before being toilet-learned continue to pay the toddler tuition rate to help cover the lower ratio and diapering assistance. Preschool staff work with parents on a toilet-learning plan but are not solely responsible for toilet learning. Written parent/caregiver
authorization is required for transition to Preschool.

Tuition Payments:
Unless paying monthly, the weekly billing period is from Monday to Friday. Billing is completed on Friday for the following week. Payment is due on Friday by 5 pm and expected in full no later than Monday. If payment is not received by Tuesday, a $25 late fee will be assessed per day for each subsequent day tuition is late. If payment is not received in full (tuition + late fee) by Friday, the child will be
discharged from the program until payment is received.

Refund Conditions
A $75 re-enrollment fee will be required to re-enroll the child back into the program if space is available. There are no refunds for
tuition or registration fees, initial or annual. At least three weeks' written notice is required to discontinue the child's enrollment.
